Boating is fun... we'll show you how
Raleigh Sail and Power Squadron (RSPS) is a non-profit organization of sail and power boaters in the
Raleigh, N.C. area dedicated to promoting safe boating through education. RSPS is one of over 450
squadrons that comprise the
United States Power Squadrons
® an organization of approximately 45,000 members dedicated to the sport of recreational boating. We support
the sport through organized events such as rendezvous and cruises, classes and civic service projects.
Membership to
Raleigh Sail and Power Squadron
and
USPS
is by
application
and is for anyone that shares our common appreciation of boating, has passed a
USPS
recognized boating safety course and is interested in advancing the objectives of our
organization. These include continuing education, community service, and enjoying
the friendship and camaraderie of our fellow members. Active members must be at least
16 years of age; there are no age considerations for family members. For membership
