March 6 to May 8, 2017
The Sail course is suitable for power boaters who want to understand sail boats, people who want to learn how to sail, and proficient sailors who wish to think more about the mechanics of getting the most out of their boats. The course covers terminology, the physics of sailing, anchoring, docking, sailboat tuning, etc. If you are curious about sailing or want to have more in-depth knowledge of how a sailboat works, join us. The course meets for 8 nights plus one night for the exam and will have a Saturday on-the-water sail of approximately 4 hours (weather permitting) where the principles covered can be put into practice on a Beneteau Oceanis 361 (36 foot) sailboat.
